Internal regulations for dog access
At Camping Sassabanek, we also welcome dogs, but in accordance with specific rules. This is to ensure the peace and quiet of all our guests. Pets are only allowed in a designated area and under specific conditions.
Please find below the answers to the most frequently asked questions about staying at the campsite with your dog.
Is there a charge for bringing a dog?
Yes, there is a daily extra charge for each dog, which must be paid as part of the stay.

What kind of dogs are allowed at Camping Sassabanek?
We only allow small- and medium-sized dogs (maximum 15-20 kg), and one per pitch. Large-sized dogs and more than one dog per pitch are not allowed.
In which area of the campsite are dogs allowed?
Dogs are only allowed in a specific, clearly marked area, which includes pitches from No. 195 to No. 211. These pitches measure approximately 7.50 x 6.30 meters and are designed for those traveling with pets.
Where are dogs not allowed?
Due to hygiene and safety reasons, dogs are not allowed:

  • in any area of Lido Sassabanek
  • in bars, restaurants, and mini-markets
  • in the pool, park, and play areas
  • in the campsite's toilet facilities
  • it is also strictly forbidden to shower dogs or wash them in sinks or foot-washing stations.
Is it necessary to inform us if you have a dog when booking?
Yes. The presence of dogs must always be communicated at the time of booking. Admission with pets is subject to the Management's authorization.
What do I need to show upon arrival?
Upon check-in, you must provide your dog's health card with an up-to-date list of vaccinations.
How should I take care of my dog at the campsite?
  • Outside the pitch, dogs must always be kept on a leash (maximum length 1.5 meters).
  • Muzzles are mandatory for medium-sized dogs.
  • Dogs must never be left alone on the pitch.
  • Owners must ensure that their pets do not invade other pitches.
  • Aggressive or noisy dogs are not allowed: dogs that growl or bark persistently will not be allowed.
Where can I take my dog for a toilet break?
  • All dog waste must be disposed of outside the campsite. Owners are required to immediately clean up after their dogs using the appropriate scoop and bag.
What happens if I don't comply with the regulations?
The Management reserves the right to expel anyone who fails to comply with the campsite rules without prior notice. Any serious or dangerous behavior will be reported to the authorities.
Owners are also personally liable for any damage caused by their dogs to property and/or persons.
